Member Monday: Karen M. Loved Her Thanksgiving Week In Scottsdale, AZ

There are few things more satisfying than being able to entertain the young ones on vacation, and Karen M. found a resort that that gave her and her grandkids a memorable vacation.  The Scottsdale Villa Mirage in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a short drive to Phoenix and has plenty around to entertain and rejuvenate. Karen shares her trip with us in this week’s Global Discovery Vacations Member Monday!

Where would you recommend a fellow member to go to have fun/attractions: 

What was your favorite:
Resort/Condominium Amenity or Room
Outdoor game center – there was a lot for all ages – and, of course, the swimming pool.

The activities committee was a great group! They had something fun to do everyday. They were very patient with all the kids, including our grandkids. Hats off, especially to Sky who seemed to take a personal interest in making everyone have a good time!

Why did you choose this destination?
We have family that lives close.

Who did you travel with?
Kids and grandkids.

Were you traveling for a special occasion? If yes, what?
Thanksgiving holiday week.

What was your favorite memory of your vacation?
Grandkids enjoying hanging out at the resort enjoying the activities available to them.

Why did you join the club?
We thought it would be a nice way to MAKE us take a vacation and we can share with our family.

My husband is retired from public service and I work in public accounting.
