Fee-Free National Park Days in 2017

Every year, the National Park Service allows guests free entry into each park during special times of year. This year has 10 such days:

  • January 16: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • February 20: Presidents Day
  • April 15-16 & April 22-23: National Park Week Weekends
  • August 25: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 30: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11-12: Veterans Day Weekend

Only 127 out of the 409 National Parks charge an entrance fee, but they are all well worth the price of admission. The National Park Service is giving 10 days for free is an incredible deal!
