What could be better than visiting one of the National Parks? How about visiting for free? President’s Day is just one of several days out of the year when you can visit the likes of Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon at no cost to you.

If you’re planning to visit one of the 127 National Parks that charge an entrance fee during the holidays with Global Discovery Vacations, check to see if you can visit for free during one of these eight days in 2015:

  • February 14-16: Presidents Day Weekend
  • April 18-19: Opening Weekend of National Park Week
  • August 25: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 26: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11: Veterans Day

And if you’re looking forward to 2016, the National Park Service usually offers Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January for free as well. With more than 400 National Parks across the nation, including several near Global Discovery Vacations resort destinations, there should be a park near you offering splendid sights. From mountains to lakes to geysers to rocks, the United States has plenty of reasons to take advantage of fee-free days.
