Each new year brings new opportunities and discoveries for you to find. We hope you made the most of 2015, but with 2016 on the horizon, it’s time to start thinking about how we’ll spend our vacations!

Orlando, Florida
Why visit: Orlando is the hub for all of your childhood dreams and is packed with entertainment around every block. It would take weeks to explore all of the Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld theme parks, so make sure you slow down and savor your stay while you’re there. The next year will see a new 73-mph roller coaster to SeaWorld, a dazzling new nighttime event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and many more surprises throughout the parks. Every child deserves to visit the marvels of Orlando once in their life, so take advantage of your Global Discovery Vacations membership!

Lake Tahoe, California/Nevada
Why visit: Run down your Perfect Vacation Checklist just to make sure it’s all there: Beaches, mountains, forests, lakes, skiing, hiking, biking, scenic views, vibrant nightlife, fantastic restaurants and manageable crowds. Check, check and check. We don’t know what more you could want for a vacation.

Branson Shows, Branson

It’s showtime in Branson!

Branson, Missouri
Why visit: Centrally located as one of the few true Midwestern resort destinations, Branson makes for a terrific getaway in just a short day’s drive for many U.S. citizens. Branson gets acclaim for its abundance of live shows, more than 100 to choose from, and Silver Dollar City, which is always in season. But the surrounding nature – Table Rock Lake, Dogwood Canyon, for example – gives a whole new dimension to the vacation experience.

Texas – Coastal
Why visit: Galveston and South Padre each give you wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico and a comfortable beachside atmosphere. These areas are generally more laid back than popular beach destinations such as Florida and Myrtle Beach, except during Spring Break, of course. So without all the countless distractions, it’s a great time to catch up on some reading or just enjoy a tranquil stroll on the sand.

Utah
Why visit: Next year marks the 100th birthday of the U.S. National Parks Service, and Utah has five beauties with which you can celebrate. Really, any National Park is a good place to visit in 2016, but Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches and others give you days of exploration. If you stay in the southern part of Utah, you can even make a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Talk about multiple birds with one stone!

Don’t let next year go by without a vacation! Whether you take our recommendations here or visit our hundreds of other destinations, check out and book online
