Major League Baseball’s annual Spring Training games are just about to be in full swing! As Spring Training takes place in Arizona and Florida, you have plenty of condominium options so see some teams in action on your vacation.

Spring Training is also a great way to snag some face time with players and get an autograph. Since the season hasn’t started yet, the atmosphere is much more relaxed and intimate for the fans. If you want to know what teams are near you or what teams you want to be near, here are some you can access while traveling with Global Discovery Vacations:

Cactus League (Arizona)

The Phoenix metro, which includes Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe and Mesa, is littered with Spring Training games. You can make a whole week of it if you desired. You have all 15 teams within an hour of each other, so we’ll just highlight a few.

Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers – Surprise

Take it from us, Kansas City are always a delight to watch. While you’d have to drive about an hour from our most popular Arizona destinations like Scottsdale or Phoenix, our hometown pride won’t allow us to leave them off this list.

San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies – Scottsdale

If we get condos in this area, they are usually in or around Scottsdale. The Giants are this decade’s closest thing to a dynasty, winning the World Series in 2010, 2012 and 2014, so they would be a great show for any baseball fan. The hometown Diamondbacks and young Rockies have some reasons to get fans excited for the coming year.

Grapefruit League (Florida)

Unlike Arizona, Florida games are dispersed throughout the state, so it’s more difficult to see several teams at once. Still, Spring Training is a great time to beat the Spring Break crowds and try some resorts managed by Global Connections, Inc.

Toronto Blue Jays – Dunedin

If you haven’t been to delightful Dunedin or stayed at the waterfront Beso Del Sol Resort, seeing the Blue Jay’s talented roster should be sufficient enough reason to get you there. Beso Del Sol Resort is also a sponsor, so check out their billboard at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.

Philadelphia Phillies – Clearwater

Clearwater Beach is not only the country’s favorite beach, but it’s home to one of our resorts, Bamboo Beach Club.

New York Yankees – Tampa

Dunedin and Clearwater are about a half hour from Tampa, so you can see the Blue Jays, Phillies or Yankees with relative ease whether you’re staying at Beso Del Sol, Bamboo Beach Club or any other resort in the area.

Houston Astros – Kissimmee

Once you pry yourself away from the lure of Orlando’s many amusement parks, check out the 2017 World Series champion Astros up close.

Spring Training usually lasts most of March and the best part is you can stop by any day of the week. If you can’t make it this year, you can plan your trip a year ahead of time on our website or by calling a Vacation Specialist at 800-879-7779.
