Member Monday: Kissimmee, FL, Can Only Mean Disney

Member Beth M. took her first Global Discovery Vacations trip to Kissimmee, Florida. We’ll give you one guess as to why they were there: Disney World, of course! Read about Beth’s stay at the Villas at Island Club in this week’s Member Monday.

Where would you recommend a fellow member to go to…
Bahama Breeze and Uno right nearby on Bronson Highway. Both places had fabulous service! Especially since we had small children in tow.

Only went to Target for groceries, etc. for the trip.

Have fun/attractions
Disney World/Cocoa Beach.

What was your favorite:
Resort/Condominium Amenity or Room
Resort condos were pretty basic, but pool and tub were nice, especially for kid entertainment during some down time.

Why did you choose this destination?
Family trip to Disney!

Who did you travel with?
Grown children, grandchildren, and mother.

Were you traveling for a special occasion? If yes, what?
Christmas family vacation.

What was your favorite memory of your vacation?
Going to Discovery Cove.

Any tips for a traveler to this resort or destination? Anything you think they should bring?
The resort was in the perfect location for our trip. It was close enough to come and go from any of the Disney parks, as well as tons of food, shopping and more nearby.

Additional Comments
Loved having our own “home” for the week where we could spread out and do our own thing, especially with meals. Condos do need to have their beds updated though. Otherwise, we loved our week!
