Introducing A-Ga-Ming: Taking Golf to the Shore

If you’re looking for a scenic vacation spot to improve your golf swing and relax by the shores of Northern Michigan, consider one of our newest locations, A-Ga-Ming.

The name “A-Ga-Ming” is a Native American term for “on the shore,” which sums up this area perfectly. This is one of the more unique golf resorts you’ll encounter with its 56 holes, close proximity to several bodies of water and the luscious green landscapes.

Located in Kewadin, MI, the resort sits between by the Grand Traverse Bay and Torch Lake while being just 20 miles from the lively communities of Charlevoix or Traverse City. If you aren’t golfing, you can gamble at the local casinos and do some shopping or fine dining in the urban areas.

The main Torch Lake property has 36 holes, lodging and a restaurant. You’ll have a view of the placid cerulean lake from the deck or patio of your Maplewood Ridge two-bedroom condo. The units come equipped with wifi, full kitchens, three TVs, shared grills and laundry facilities.

The three golf courses owned by A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort are highly recommended by Golf Digest and whether you’re a scratch golfer or a beginner, there is one for your play style. Torch and The Dells each have a four-star rating while Sundance was selected among Golf Digest’s best new courses in 2006, leaving plenty of quality options.

This is the perfect peaceful getaway, so take advantage of this one-of-a-kind resort for your next trip with Global Discovery Vacations!

  1. Global member from Michigan requesting more picture and amenity information please:) VERY EXCITED!

  2. This place looks beautiful. We may try it next year; however we are EXTREMELY disappointed that you will no longer offer Dolphins Cove in Anaheim Ca. I understand that you have replaced it with Peacock Suites; which is not very nice. Your choices in southern Ca. leave a lot to be desired.

    • We’re sorry that you don’t prefer the Peacock Suites, Ray, but thank you for the feedback. We’ll be sure to pass this along to property management.
