Family Has Buckets of Fun in Orlando, Wins 3rd

Leave it to the kids to commit to an adorably hilarious photo! Members Benjamin and Jennifer W. spent a week in Orlando and took some amusing photos to remember the trip – one of which finished third place in our Shoot for the Stars contest (Wild and Fun category)! We spoke to Jennifer about her trip and photo.

How did you think of the idea for the photo?

My sister-in-law sent me some pictures through Facebook and said, “Here’s some great ideas for you to try while you’re on vacation.” I thought I would try one while we were at the beach. We were near Orlando in Cocoa Beach.

Where did you stay for your trip?

We stayed at Lifetime of Vacations Resort and it was really nice. They had a lake for the kids to fish in, as well as paddle boats and fishing poles. They provided bait, life jackets and everything.

The resort was probably around 45 minutes from Cocoa Beach. One place we like to visit over there is Ron Jon Surf Shop, so we made a day visiting all the stores before hanging out at the beach.

Do you travel much as a family?

“Time well spent with family at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas.” – Member Jennifer W.

Yes. We’re getting ready to go back to Florida soon. I don’t know what exactly we’re doing this next time, we like to make plans when we get there.

Is that why you got the membership?

Absolutely – just to make those memories. We didn’t travel much at all until we got this Global Discovery Vacations membership. My uncle was a member and we used some of his Stars a couple times. Then we decided to get our own. We really liked what we saw and how the company treated him – the pricing especially. It’ll be a wise investment and our kids can enjoy it when they get older.

As Benjamin and Jennifer have seen, travel is the gift that keeps on giving! We’re glad your family has been on so many trips together and we hope that your prize gives you another opportunity.
